Ways To Donate
The monies raised in this event go toward funding programs that help and support Utah’s military personnel (and their families) who have died or been injured in the line of duty in the war on terror, especially for the exigent financial needs incurred by the families of our wounded heroes. There are several ways you can help us raise funds to meet their needs.
Cash Gifts
Cash Gifts provide for direct funding. Ninety-five percent of all cash gifts will go directly into funding programs for surviving dependents and the exigent financial needs of our wounded troops. Whether donating on a corporate level or as an individual donor, one way to donate, for example, would be to match, dollar for dollar, the amount collected in rider participation fees. Or you may wish to designate a specified amount of your choosing. Your on-line donation can be facilitated by going to www.healingfield.org/brandonsride where you'll click on HERE to donate. Cash gifts are not accepted by volunteers.
In-Kind Gifts
Another way to donate is through in-kind gifts of products and services from local businesses. Your donation of a product, service or gift certificate, given away in a prize drawing, for instance, provides incentives for more bikers to participate in the event. The greater the number of bikers participating, the greater the amount of funds generated for these important veteran’s issues. Besides being tax deductible, your business will be posted on the Brandon's Ride website, exposing your business to thousands of bikers who visit the site, and to our riders during the prize drawing. To make an in-kind donation, contact the event coordinator, Amy McCann, at brandonsride@yahoo.com or call 801-604-3696 to make arrangements for pick-up and delivery. Or you may give your donation to the volunteer that solicited you. Please do not deliver in-kind donations to Colonial Flag as they are not equipped to provide storage space or accept responsibility for accepting your donation.
Biker Participation Fees
Bikers, your donation of $15 per rider and/or $10 per passenger entitles you to participate in the continental breakfast, ride, prize drawing, auction and post-ride meal. Ninety percent of rider
participation fees go to funding the needs of our veterans and their families. You can register on-line for the ride,or you may purchase your ride ticket at the convening venue the day of the ride. Additionally, your purchase of bug cards and extra prize drawing tickets may be purchased at the ride venue, helping to fund our cause.
Individual Donors
If you aren’t fortunate enough to ride a motorcycle but you’d still like to make a cash donation, please click HERE, or go to www.healingfield.org/brandonsride .
Corporate Sponsorships
We welcome and encourage businesses, corporations and foundations to join us in our support of the troops and their families. Corporate Sponsors will get their company listed, or your logo displayed, on the Brandon's Ride Website as a supporter of the event. Your corporate donations may consist of a cash award or as an in-kind donation. See the rules for Cash Gifts and In-Kind Gifts, above, in regard to submitting your donation.
Platinum Level: A gift of $3000 entitles you to:
a. Your company’s logo exclusively and prominently featured on the Brandon's Ride website as a Premium Platinum Level Sponsor with a link to your website.
b. Twenty (20) tickets to the ride, continental breakfast, lunch and raffle/auction for your employees, family and friends.
Gold Level: A gift of $2000 entitles you to:
a. Your company’s logo featured exclusively and prominently on the Brandon's Ride website as a Premium Gold Level Sponsor and a link to your website.
b. Fifteen (10) tickets to the ride, continental breakfast, lunch and raffle/auction for your employees or family and friends.
Silver Level: A gift of $1000 entitles you to:
a. Your company’s logo featured exclusively* and prominently on the the Brandon's Ride website as a Premium Silver Level Sponsor and a link to your website.
b. Ten (5) tickets to the ride, continental breakfast, lunch and raffle for your employees or family and friends.
All donations are tax deductible.
No Competition Clause: As a Premium Sponsor your company has exclusive claim to the level of premium sponsorship specified by your donation, within the realm of your company's field of expertise or competition.
